The site in Malmo has produced over many years decorative paints, resins and coatings for industrial customers in the metal and wood industry.

In 2016 AkzoNobel in Malmö started to integrate the multi-site with two teams (Decorative Paints and Performance Coatings) into one organization: “One Sege”. As stand-alone units they had their own culture and organizational setup and with “One Sege” the goal is to make the organization more effective and competitive. This is a great opportunity to shape the site organization and culture ready for a strong future! Site Sege is a strategic site in Europe within AkzoNobel which likely grants Malmö more products, volumes and investments.

Several parts of the operating process are manual hence there is a big potential to raise efficiency through people management and Operations Excellence with clear structure, standardized production processes and further leading the site as one engaged team.
